Terms and Conditions

1. Package Travel Act

• All travel arrangements are subject to the “Package Travel Act”, which, among other things, aims to provide extensive consumer protection. Travel agencies must be able to document that, when booking a trip and before a deposit is paid by the customer, they have made the customer aware of all conceivable aspects of the trip, including costs, conditions for changes, etc. In this connection, B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS refers to the B & H Jagtrejser price list, invoice, travel information, booking information, general advice and practical information, insurance certificates and separate product liability insurance.

2. Registration, deposit and payment

• When registering for an event, a deposit of 50% of the trip price is paid, no later than 8 days, after which the current hunting area is booked.
• Before the deposit is received, the reservation is not binding for B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS.
• The remaining amount must be paid no later than 60 days before departure. If the remaining amount is not paid on time, B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS reserves the right to cancel the entire agreement. In the event of cancellation of the agreement, the deposit paid will accrue to B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS and will not be repaid to the customer.
• If a trip is booked later than 60 days before departure, the entire amount of the trip must be paid upon booking.
• If a reminder is sent, a reminder fee of DKK 100 will be charged. Interest will also be calculated at the usual default interest rate.
• The amount must be paid via: Frøs Herreds Sparekasse. Reg. no. 7687 Account no. 0000421561. Remember to note the invoice no. upon payment.

3. Cancellation

• In case of cancellation up to 90 days before the departure date, the price of the trip will be refunded, with a deduction of DKK 1000 per participant for handling fees.
• In case of cancellation later than 90 days before the departure date and before 60 days before the departure date, the deposit is lost, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
• In case of cancellation later than 60 days before the departure date, the entire price of the trip is due for payment, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
• Note! The above does not apply to airline tickets. In case of cancellation of airline tickets that cannot be canceled with the airline, the entire price of the trip is due for payment, and the amount is lost to the customer.
• In case of cancellation in connection with illness or the like, it is a situation that the customer can insure against. Read the section on insurance.

4. Cancellation

• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS reserves the right to cancel an event if, contrary to expectations, we find that the conditions are not as we have promised, e.g.: lack of participation, changes in the hunting area, etc. In such cases, the travel participants will receive their paid amount back, or be offered a replacement trip, in consultation with the customer. No further claims for compensation of any kind can be made against the organizer.

5. Interruption

• If an event is interrupted before the time, and the hunting area is left, or the customer for one reason or another does not wish to complete the trip as booked, there will be no refund for the services that have not been received.

6. Transfer of the trip

• If the customer wishes to transfer the trip to another person, it is possible for a change fee of DKK 1000. However, the change is conditional on the possibility of rebooking any flights, hunting area, etc. However, it requires that B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS is informed, and that it happens at least 30 days before departure. Both the buyer and the person who takes over the trip are now liable for any outstanding amounts and extra costs associated with the transfer.

7. Our responsibility

• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS acts as an agent for the hunting lessor in Denmark and abroad, as well as various transport companies and hotels, etc., and assumes no responsibility, nor financial, for changes, delays, etc. that may be the result of breach of contract, extreme weather conditions, or anything else that B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS has no influence on.
• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS reserves the right to any printing errors.
• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS is a member of the Travel Guarantee Fund – reg. no. (coming in April 2021) – which ensures the customer full repayment of paid money, as well as assistance in connection with repatriation in the event that B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS goes into suspension of payments / bankruptcy.

8. Customer’s responsibility

• All participation in our events is at your own risk. • The customer is obliged to follow all current rules and normal hunting ethics.
• The customer is obliged to familiarize themselves with and comply with information that is set out in all distributed publications and documents, including terms and conditions.
• In connection with alcohol-influenced customers, B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS disclaims any responsibility. This also applies financially, if the customer is expelled from the hunting area due to alcohol influence.

9. Insurance

• It is up to the individual customer to ensure good travel insurance, especially outside the EU.
• You can obtain the blue health insurance card for free online.

10. Weapons pass

• For travel outside the EU, an EU weapons pass is not required, unless the customer has a stay in an EU country on the way to the destination.
• For travel to EU countries, an EU weapons pass is required.

11. Airline tickets

• Once the airline tickets have been booked, they cannot be changed. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct name to B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS. B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS is not responsible for incorrectly received information. If the ticket needs to be changed, some airlines in some cases charge a change fee, and with others it costs a completely new ticket. In addition, B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS charges an administration fee of DKK 1000 for changes.

12. The flight

• The customer must ensure that the correct and necessary documents for the further course of the trip are handed out at the check-in counters at airports (e.g. boarding passes for all routes). The customer also has a duty to keep informed about any changes in timetables and, in the case of overseas travel, must ensure that the return journey is reconfirmed no later than 72 hours before departure. This is done with the airline in question.

13. Prices

• All B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS prices are stated in Danish kroner, and incl. VAT, where nothing else is stated.
• In the event of price changes on airline tickets, taxes, duties, oil surcharges, etc., B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS reserves the right to change the prices up to departure. The price changes may also be caused by exchange rate fluctuations.

14. Complaint

• If, contrary to expectations, unforeseen things or problems should arise on the trip, you have a duty to immediately inform B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS about them, if the customer and B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS partner cannot solve the problem. If B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS is not contacted, the customer’s right to any form of complaint/compensation lapses.
• If, contrary to expectations, there should be complaints about the event (accommodation, hunting staff, interpreter, trophy measurement or other), this MUST be recorded in the minutes, so that B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS has the opportunity to process the complaint. Review and sign the minutes with the person responsible for the hunting area before departure, to ensure that everything is as agreed. Please check before signing that cleaning of trophies is 100% in order. If there are objections regarding cleaning of trophies, this must be recorded in the minutes, so that the case can be processed.

16. Trophies

• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS points out that unforeseen changes may occur in legislation regarding import or export of trophies. Should a new legislation come into force after the hunt has taken place, and thus make export/import of trophies impossible, no claims can be made against the agency.
• Many of our events include a certain number of trophies. Should these, contrary to our expectations, not be felled, no compensation is given for this, unless otherwise agreed.
• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS will gladly mediate contact, or obtain offers, to taxidermists and for sending trophies home. Any agreements are entered into directly between the customer and the supplier.
• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS advises their customers to take out insurance that covers the trophies in the event of an accident. This insurance can be taken out with the chosen freight forwarder.
• Weighing and settlement of trophies takes place at the hunting area in question.
• Trophies are settled as a whole skull (with upper jaw), boiled and dried for 24 hours, with a deduction of 90 grams for bucks – deer no deduction.
• Should trophies be felled so that 24 hours of drying is not possible, you can negotiate an extra deduction with the hunting area.
• All subsequent trophy treatment, which includes both the trophy transport and/or the subsequent taxidermy work, is not part of the package tour, and is therefore outside B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS’s area of responsibility. That is, the trophy transport and the taxidermy work is FULLY the customer’s own responsibility and risk.

17. Import of trophies, meat and skins

• It is the customer’s own responsibility to obtain permission to import animal species covered by the Washington Convention’s list of endangered animal species. Check www.cites.org for the nearest office.
• Meat and skins from felled game normally always accrue to the hunting area in question, but can often be purchased. Be aware that import of meat and untreated skins from many countries is subject to special conditions and requires an import permit.

• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS disclaims any responsibility in connection with repatriation of trophies. It is the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that all necessary permits are in place.
• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS is of course always helpful with advice and guidance, but strongly recommends that a professional freight forwarding company take care of all necessary formalities.

18. Weapons and ammunition

• There are a few precautions for traveling with weapons and ammunition.
• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS will inform you about how to travel with weapons and ammunition, as well as arrange import permits and notification of weapons to the airlines, if it is B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS that is responsible for booking the flight. As with all other luggage, there is a risk that the weapon case is delayed or lost. Should this happen, it does not give the customer the right to cancel the event, or get a discount on the price, if B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS can provide a replacement weapon within 2 days.
• If the customer does not wish to travel with weapons, a weapon can usually be rented in the hunting area for a small fee.

19. Driving

• If you arrive at the destination in your own car or rental car, and wish to use this during the hunt or in the hunting area, this is at your own risk.
• You must be prepared to pay extra for driving in the hunting lessor’s vehicle. The only exception is the trips where it is clearly stated that driving is included in the price.

20. Photography

• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS has the right, without consent from those photographed, to use pictures taken on our tours, by our staff.

21. Vaccination

• B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS advises that you contact your own doctor well in advance of departure, to ensure the correct advice.

22. Venue

• Any dispute that may arise from this agreement is subject to Danish law, and the venue is the Court in Sønderborg.

23. General

• The customer should always remember to read B og H Jagtrejser of 2021 APS’s general information regarding the individual destination, where there is a lot of relevant information for the individual destination.
