The country offers very varied terrain and different types of hunting. In addition to hunting red deer and roe deer, there is also the opportunity to hunt rabbit and pigeons. A hunting trip to Scotland does not provide the largest trophies, but the greatest hunting experience and a memory for life, whether it is hunting for deer, buck, rabbit or pigeon!
Hunting seasons in Scotland
Hunting in Scotland can take place at virtually any time of the year:
- Rabbit can be hunted from May to August
- Roe buck from April to October
- Pigeons can be hunted from July to and including September
- Red deer are hunted from September to and including December

Roe deer hunting in Scotland is a slightly underrated hunt, as many large and fine bucks are shot here. However, it places some demands on the hunter, as many kilometers can be covered during the day.
The Scottish nature is very beautiful and at times fickle, with showers and sun on the same day.

Red deer hunting in Scotland is an exciting and challenging
hunt you won’t soon forget, as you usually have to work hard
for your stag. Many fine Highland stags are harvested here.

Rough shooting is similar to our driven hunts.
You can choose to walk or stand, and you may shoot any
game that is open for the season. The best time is November, December, and January.
