England is a country with good old hunting traditions, which have roots in the English royal family’s past. The many royal hunts were well-known and took place all over the country. Today, hunting has also become more common among the population.
We use local experienced hunters as contacts and professional hunters, and can therefore offer the best hunting experiences in England.
Hunting in England
The country offers many different terrains and the game has good living conditions. The biotope is very varied and contains small forests, hedgerows, meadows, bogs and agricultural land.
England is known for having many different forms of hunting for both rifle and shotgun hunters.
The good terrains and different hunting forms mean that England can offer a great variety of hunting experiences:
- Bag a beautiful buck during the roe deer hunt
- Have some action-packed days with pigeon shooting
- Get acquainted with the grey ghost, the Sika, which has driven many hunters crazy
- Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to meet a Muntjac or Chinese Water Deer that is always on the move.
- England also has some of the world’s best pheasant and partridge shooting, which many shotgun enthusiasts will find challenging
When can you hunt in England?
Hunting in England can take place at virtually any time of the year:
- Rabbit hunting is at its peak from May to August
- Roe buck can be hunted from April to October
- Pigeons June to September inclusive
- Red deer are preferably hunted from September to December inclusive, but can also be hunted at other times of the year (ask us for info)
- Muntjac can be hunted from November to March
- Sika can be hunted from September to November, but the hunt is at its peak in October
Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac
If you want to experience hunting the small and fast Muntjac and Chinese Water Deer, then Norwich is the place. Here there are lush fields, large enclosures and not least huge bog areas that the animals love.
You can easily hunt both types of deer at the same time. You can often be lucky that they go close together.
There are four ranges available, which together cover 16,000 acres.

Roe buck in Norfolk
Early spring hunting in England from 1 April. Here the buck has already shed its velvet and they are very active.
The hunt usually takes place as a stalk hunt, but sometimes also by stand hunting, if you know there is a large buck in a certain area. The landscape is very lush, which gives the opportunity for large trophies.
Really big bucks are felled every year, many even in the medal class. England is a dreamland to hunt big bucks in and the English stalkers are super skilled.

Pigeon shooting
England is known for its Redletter days (100+ per day) if the shooter manages to use a shotgun.
June to September are the best months to shoot many birds in, and there is not much that beats an action-packed summer day in the hide with a shotgun, wearing only shorts and shirt sleeves. And what better way to end such a day than with beer and dinner at a local English pub?

Pheasant hunting in Wales
Really high world-class pheasants in Wales, where even the most experienced hunters will have their shooting skills put to the test. The pheasant hunt takes place on three different estates.
First class stay, from start to finish. Every evening you come home to cozy surroundings where you can relax and enjoy good food and real cosiness in the old English rooms. With a good whiskey or whatever you could want.
Upon arrival at Birmingham Airport, you will be picked up in a minibus. You arrive the evening before and are greeted with a large dinner. Then three days of fantastic bird hunting await.
