HUNTING IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
– one of Europe’s most sought-after hunting destinations
You should go to the Czech Republic on a hunting trip to experience the unique populations of mouflon and sika deer, the proud and atmospheric hunting traditions, as well as the beautiful nature and varied hunting grounds. And with only 800 km to the northernmost areas, it’s an easy drive.
In addition to mouflon and sika deer, you can enjoy fantastic hunting experiences for fallow deer, roe deer, red deer and wild boar. All in all, the Czech Republic offers quality populations that are hard to find at the same level elsewhere.
What you can expect:
The country is considered the best place in Europe for hunting large mouflon rams, and trophy animals in medal class are taken regularly.
Here you’ll also find one of the densest populations of free-ranging sika deer in Europe, especially in the northwestern part of the country.
If you prefer bird hunting, the Czech Republic offers classic European bird shooting of very high quality in beautiful manor-house settings.
Intense action or a relaxed stalk?
The Czech Republic has it all! Driven hunts are known for the great diversity of game species and often
with longer drives than in other European neighbouring countries such as Poland.
If you prefer stand hunting and stalking, you can also enjoy exciting hunting experi-
ences in mountainous terrain or more relaxed stand hunting from towers in the vast, deep forests.
A hunting country that has it all:
Mountainous terrain, the deep Bohemian forests and large lake districts. No matter what you
choose, you’ll have some fantastic hunting and nature experiences. And with the option to stay in everything from rustic hunting lodges in the middle of the hunting grounds to luxurious castles and spa hotels.
Add a bit of Prague
If you’d like to experience a bit of city life in Prague, this can easily be combined, as most hunting grounds are close to Prague.
